Patches Of Color Topper

Needed:

PSP X

This was written in X, but should

be workable in other versions.

A tube of your choice.

A bottom edge mask of your choice.

Plugins:

Sybia  HERE

Italian Editor Mosaico  HERE

Performance Notes:

All settings will remain the same

unless otherwise noted.

Let's Begin

1  File > Open (Ctrl + O)

Open your tube of choice.

2  Window > Duplicate (Shift + D)

Close Original.

3  Dropper Tool (E)

Foreground

Left click for light to medium color

from your tube.

4  Edit > Copy

5  Image > Resize

Settings:

Width = 1024, Height = 450

Resample using = Smart Size

Lock aspect ratio = Unchecked

Resize all layers = Checked

6  Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling

Settings:

Default

7  Layers > New Raster Layer

8  Layers > Arrange > Send To Bottom

9  Flood Fill Tool (F)

Settings:

Match mode = None

Use All Layers = Unchecked

Blend mode = Normal, Opacity = 100

Fill with your chosen color.

10  Layers > Merge > Merge Down

11  Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur

Settings:

Radius = 20.00

12  Effects > Plugins > Sybia >

Twister

Settings:

Control 0 = 60

All other settings = 0

13  Effects > Plugins > Sybia >

Streaker

Settings:

Control 0 = 31, Control 1 = 12

Control 2 = 0, Control 3 = 0

Control 4 = 111, Control 5 = 0

Control 6 = 0, Control 7 = 0

14  Effects > Plugins >

Italian Editors Effects >

Mosaico

Settings:

Larghezza Celle = 11

Altezza Celle = 27

Bordo Celle On/Off = 188

15  Effects > Distortion Effects >

Wave

Settings:

Horizontal Displacement

Amplitude = 1, Wavelength = 2

Vertical Displacement

Amplitude = 1, Wavelength = 2

Repeat = Checked

16  Effects > Edge Effects > Enhance

17  Layers > Load/Save Mask >

Load Mask From Disk

Settings:

Your choice.

18  Layers > Merge > Merge Group

19  Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow

Settings:

Vertical = 2, Horizontal = 2

Opacity = 50, Blur = 5.00

Color = Black

Shadow On New Layer = Unchecked

20  Edit > Paste As A New Layer

Note:

If you are using a misted tube

you may want to skip the

next step.

21  Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow

22  Layers > New Raster Layer

23. Add your watermark.

Note: 

At this point you can add

any text or embellishments

you may wish.

24  Image > Canvas Size

Settings: 

Width = 1024, Height = 2000

Placement = Top Middle Arrow

25  Layers > New Raster Layer

26  Layers > Arrange > Send To Bottom

27  Flood Fill Tool (F)

Fill with your chosen color.

28  Adjust > Add/Remove Noise >

Add Noise

Settings: 

Gaussian = Checked, Noise = 5

Monochrome = Checked 

29  File > Export JPEG Optimizer

Set compression value = 25 - 30
